We have been established since 1997 providing a positive and creative play experience in a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 4-11 years.
Creative, Social and Inclusive
We are committed to providing a creative, social and inclusive programme to meet the needs of primary aged children to enjoy a variety of play opportunities in and outdoors throughout their day. Staff, known as Playworkers, support and encourage children to reach their full potential by providing safe and positive experiences at the club.
Great Theme Days At Jump for Joy
Every day is different at Jump For Joy Holiday Club. There is a daily Theme Day where a broad range of activities are planned by our enthusiastic and supportive team of Playworkers to encourage and develop each child’s physical, social and creative skills.
Our Day
Each day at the Holiday club we begin at 8.10 am. Our friendly and professional staff are ready to meet and greet you and your children on your arrival and mark you in the register.
Breakfast is available until 9 am.
A selection of cereals and toast with spreads and a drink of water or Cows Milk is offered until 9.00 am. Parents are required to bring a dairy free milk option if required.
Areas of Free play is set up in the hall during this time.
The mornings activities begin at 9 am and takes place in the Main hall adjoining the back room. The activities are child led and are displayed on the weeks plan and linked to the Theme days offered.
Play and sports take place outside in the yard, playground and Field weather permitting.
The children have opportunities to move between areas to the different play taking place. All areas are supervised by our qualified and experienced staff known as Play workers.
Lunch is at 12 pm in the main hall. This is followed by a relaxing time.
The afternoon activities begin at 1.30 pm and include cooking, Arts and crafts and active play.
A healthy snack is provided and given at 3.30 pm.
Water is available throughout the day. In extreme hot weather, regular water breaks take place.
Further play and games take place following snack until 5.30 pm.
Club closes at 5.30 pm
